Our Method

At Hometown Cleaning, llc we believe that continual deep cleaning is required to maintain the beauty and value of your home.  
The cleaning of your home is set up on a rotation system. Each time it will consist of a "general" cleaning of the entire home and one room (or designated area) will be "totaled" or "deep cleaned".

GENERAL CLEANING  of LIVING/FAMILY ROOM, DINING ROOM, BEDROOMS, OFFICE, REC ROOMS, COMMON AREAS ETC. - this is what is considered "dry work" 

• Dusting of all surfaces, pictures and accessible light fixtures/ceiling fans

• Dusting of all knick knacks
• Cleaning glass tables
• Dusting of all mini-blinds and window sills
• Vacuum all carpeted rooms
• Clean all hard floor surfaces
• Using crevice tool for corners as needed
• Remove cobwebs
• Empty trash

GENERAL CLEANING of KITCHEN, UTILITY ROOM AND BATHROOMS - this is what is considered "wet work"
Clean and sanitize:

• Toilets
  
• Sinks & counters
• Tubs & Showers
• Mirrors
• Floors & Baseboards
• Outside of appliances
• Check cabinets
• Accessible light fixtures as needed - to be determined at time of estimate
• Pictures
• Shake Rugs
• knick-knack shelves
• Empty trash (bathrooms only)
• "Accessible" means if our teams are able to reach it using a Hometown Cleaning, LLC provided ladder, it will be cleaned. Due to insurance reasons, Hometown Cleaning  teams cannot use customers' ladders.

Furniture that is easily moved by 2 people will be moved, cleaned behind and put back in place.

On a rotation basis extra work is done in each room or different areas of your home. We call this a "total".
TOTAL CLEANING consists of: this is in addition to a "general" cleaning

• Cleaning woodwork - doors and baseboards
• Cleaning accessible light fixtures
• Cleaning corners
• Vacuuming furniture…including under cushions
• Moving movable furniture - furniture that can be moved by 2 people
• Cleaning glass on pictures
